Nice weekend of wins for Simon! This past weekend was a good one for Simon, and I can't help but think Baby Eleanor was up in heaven cheering him on... after not being shown for a year, our boy Simon dusted off nicely, going Best Opposite Sex under judge Mr. Robert Slay at the Lone Star English Setter Club Specialty show in Houston on 3/18/11, and then Best of Breed the next day under judge Col. Jerry H. Weiss at the Houston Kennel Club, Inc. show, followed up with another Best of Breed win under judge Ms. Nancy Jean Gallant on Sunday at the Galveston County Kennel Club. Simon was presented by Rose Leale, and they had a very productive and fun first weekend out together! Thanks Rose! March 19, 2010 - Simon gets an Award of Merit!Bedtime's own handsome boy Simon, CH. Lampliter N Honeygait American Idol, was honored to receive an AOM rosette from Judge Douglas Windsor at the Lone Star English Setter Club Specialty show on March 19th, 2010. We are so proud of Simon for this acheivement, especially since it was his Texas "debut" and he is rarely shown. Way to go, Simon!!! Independence Day 2009: New Champion! This 4th of July weekend at the Channel City Kennel Club in Ventura, CA, our own Miss Isadora became CH. Hemlock Lane No Place Like Home! Dorey is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside, with excellent hips, normal elbows, BAER clear, and a sweet personality and lovely, tender heart. I couldn't be more proud of this gorgeous girl, and my gratitude goes out to Rebecca Yuhasz Smith for breeding this wonderful bitch and bringing her into my life; to the talented Amy Rutherford for her always superb handling and exquisite grooming and care of Dorey on the road and at home, and; to Judge Carole Beattie for recognizing Dorey's enduring quality and beauty and bestowing upon her the finishing major win! What a wonderful way to celebrate Independence Day! Dorey's show wins!07/03/09 Channel City Kennel Club, Judge: Mrs. Carole A. Beattie |
